2000s
Went to Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin as editorial director of the Special Issue Department (fashion, architecture, design, travel, food). Then took over as fashion & lifestyle director at Stern magazine. Launched fashion blogging at Stern as one of Germany’s first fashion bloggers.
1990s
Lived and worked in Paris as freelance correspondent, author and trendscout for german fashion and lifestyle media, such as Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Die Woche, Max, Wiener, Cosmopolitan, Textilwirtschaft, dpa, Scholz & Friends. Went back to Munich as deputy editor and fashion director of german Cosmopolitan. Became part of the founding editorial staff of german Instyle. Editor-in-chief at boo.com magazine, one of the world’s first international online lifestyle magazines (together with Wolfgang Macht, founder of Netzpiloten).
Decided at the age of thirteen to become a journalist and to live in Paris. Studied History and Geography at Université de Paris IV (Sorbonne). Trilingual (English, French, German), basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
Born in Hannover, raised in Munich.
